Undertext

In asking what name the angel spoke to Mary, which was then written as we have it in Greek, and then translated to English as Jesus, in order to speak the name as it was spoken, a Hebrew undertext posited by Robert L. Lindsey suggests that Luke was the first document, copied by Mark, which read by Matthew was used in his gospel, but without knowledge of Luke, and that underpinning Luke was first an unknown, but posited biography of Jesus in Hebrew which itself was translated to Greek. Much of this is based on the distinctly Hebrew word order of these writings suggesting they were first written in Hebrew and then translated, as the Septuagint was.

This lends weight to the notion of pronouncing the Name as a Hebrew name, for though it is said the original name of the Father was lost to usage in Babylon out of respect for the unspeakable, it must be otherwise that the countless times injunction is given to hide in that name, walk and talk in that name, means that the loss of that Name was the single-most effort of the Babylonian Captivity to confound. So ever since it has been God and Lord when all along it was the Name Moses learned which none of us hardly speak at all.

Excavations at Eblaa found a civilization 4500 years old with traces of mention of that name. Some want to turn this to disprove Moses, but in so doing do not want at all to credit that the names Abraham, Ishmael, Sodom and Gomorrah also found there prove the same OT most real and most ancient. "Mi-ka-ta, Ish-ma-il, and most enigmatic of all, Ish-ra-il...Ab-ra-mu and Da-u-dum. Did they correspond to the biblical names of Micah, Ishmael, Israel, Abraham and David?" (Chaim Bermant/Michael Weitzman. Ebla: A Revelation in Archaeology. 1979). You cannot have your cake and eat it too, and you cannot have the name a strong tower if you don't speak and know it.

Solar Eclipse

I said to her that it's all reversed. The baby, the sun on the horizon born into the first light rises up into secrets, the hidden. The most complex of life is the first, like the seed that waits to unfold, the life that is unknown, thought secret knows itself only after it has traversed the heavens, half the sphere of its life and enters below the horizon again, to simplify further and further until it reaches the last simplest state. Speaking of Alpha and Omega, the man said that if it had been Hebrew it'd beeen Kalph to Lamed. His wife rolled her eyes that it wasn't Aleph to Tau, so he took a nap and woke up with Orion over his head (he slept in his son's bed where he had designated the stars) and then began thinking how much he liked kalph to lamed, except that it should be lamed to kalph, that is justice to justice. No more must the ox power of the aleph cavort in his head, nor the End of the World. It shows you that one should get out more. That led to confronting his wife with the question that knocked her socks: "if you my dear were to say when the universe was made, what time and space it was in, what would it be"? To help her he proposed Aries since the new year began then for him, and not January, but with the note that the Egyptians lived in the age of bull Taurus. Then he added that of course the Hebrew new year begins in September. And what a give away that was, for there are good, clean sources that the universe was made, created, but not infinitly in Virgo! That's as it should be, don't all of us think, to put it upon a woman to care for its birth. A woman, nay, a mother oversees its birth and with that, as she always seems to be anyway, she will be there for its death, for his mother and grandmother held their loved ones at their deaths, rocked them, old and young, and his wife had shepherded so many to the gates, holding the hand, closing the eyelids, putting in the teeth, bathing the body, singing a little song withal.

Paradise

What comes of finding out paradise exists? We cannot love ether. Paradise is not complicated with ether, which stands for all and every occult statement of another world, but without experiencing it. Ether is complicated by the folks who write of it with every interminable link. Where is paradise? Why she is your wife and she is in your bed with all that loves of the world of animals, plants and children. It is why the rabbis called her first the image of Shekinah. She is the paradise you hold and love and with children make a home. She is Sarah, of grace and the Jerusalem Above.
